New helpers!

I was so so proud to see some special Xivis get helper halos the other day when Halo Fairy was on a visit to xivio. Halo Fairy see’s all and she lets us guardians know who she thinks is helping and being good on Xivio after myself and the other guardians spoke to her and told her the ones we have noticed doing well she came to visit!, This time on her visit she crowned KutiePii, AngelStar98, Supermokey, and Slushie as our Fab new helpers thank you all for all you give to Xivio and for all your help!

How to take pictures of Xivio and add them to your hompy!

Hi xivi friends 🙂 well many people have asked me how to take a picture of xivio and add it to their hompy so I will do my best to explain on here for you 🙂 This is from a desk top way as thats what I have!

Firstly you need to look for the Print Screen/sysRq key on your keyboard get all ready on the xivio screen if you wish you can click the stripes on the top right hand corner of the xivio screen to cross off the speech bubbles but remember to turn them back on after! 🙂 Once you are ready click the print screen key…you wont hear anything it will appear as if nothing has happened but it has!

Next open PAINT this can be found by clicking the start tab on your computer then accessories! once this is open click edit found at the top of the screen then click paste.

Next you need to click the square on the left of your paint screen

Then click on your xivio picture drag the box around the part of the photo you wish to keep! (The Part of the picture you wanna keep needs to be inside the box you dragged!)

 Once this is done you need to click inside the box… right click and select “Copy to”  find you pictures file and save the picture (You may have to name it but follow what it says on the screen in the pop up box!).  Now close paint your picture is saved to you computer!

But now you will find the picture isnt a format your hompy will recognize,  It is saved in your pictures as a BMP file hompy’s dont like this file type!

To fix this click start and my pictures and open the folder you saved your xivio picture in! RIGHT click on the image and select edit.

Now the picture will open up in paint, all you need to do now is click FILE then SAVE AS another box will appear this will have two drop down boxes the first one has your picture title you need to click on the second drop down box and choose the format to change save your photo as SELECT JPEG…HEY PRESTO!! in your pictures you have your picture all ready for your hompy!
